ABOUT ABOUT

STRIKE: Pop-Up Restaurant

Seating is limited to 60 guests per night

For just three evenings, The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Cultural Center will become an avant-garde restaurant, serving elegant dinners designed around recipes from the cookbooks of the leading Jewish chefs — with the authors on hand to tell the stories behind the ingredients and the inspirations behind their creations.

Delicious food, Israeli wine parings and unique dining experiences with a different chef each evening.

NIGHT THREE

Beloved champion of Israel's diverse culinary traditions, Michael Solomonov - chef, restaurant-owner and cookbook author - is best known for Zahav in Philadelphia, the first Israeli-American restaurant to be granted an Outstanding by the James Beard Awards. After expanding across Philadelphia with seven more eateries, in 2022 he opened both Cafe K’Far and the grill house Laser Wolf in Williamsburg, quickly named one of the “50 places in America we’re most excited about” by The New York Times. He is co-author of three cookbooks, including Zahav, a James Beard Foundation Award Coookbook of the Year.
